Nhulunbuy Primary School works closely with different Emergency Department to provide students with information about their functions in the community and positive ways of working together. Nhulunbuy Fire Services visit the school to provide education on fire safety and audits of the facility. Visits to our Preschool and Primary School are always very informative and exciting for the students. We have also been very fortunate to have the team attend some of our special events like RUOK Day and our Cross Country, where the fire truck is on hand to wash everyone down. Nhulunbuy Police including the school-based constable (based at Nhulunbuy High School) visit the school to provide education and support. The team at Nhulunbuy Police station respond quickly to requests for support in response to identified need. Promotion of road safety has been a particular focus.
